Internet services suspended in 20 districts in Uttar Pradesh

Amid protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, internet services will remain suspended in twenty districts of Uttar Pradesh. On Thursday, after the protest against CAA turned violent, the mobile internet and SMS services were suspended.  The decision has been taken in order to prevent the possible misuse of internet to disturb the peace and tranquillity of the city and create further law and order situation.
