IndiGo Crisis Deepens: Massive Flight Cancellations Leave Passengers Stranded

IndiGo is facing a major operational crisis, causing massive disruption for passengers across the country. According to reports, the situation may continue for another week, and many flights are likely to remain cancelled. In the last three days alone, around 1,750 IndiGo flights have been cancelled, leaving travelers stranded at airports in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, Pune, Bhopal, Lucknow, and Srinagar. Long queues, delays, lack of information, and inadequate arrangements have increased frustration among passengers, who say they are not receiving proper updates or alternatives. Some travelers complained about high ticket prices on other airlines, limited support at counters, and no stay or refund provisions. Authorities expect the situation to improve only between December 10 and 15. Being India’s largest airline, IndiGo’s ongoing crisis has raised serious questions about preparedness and management, as thousands of passengers continue to face heavy inconvenience.
