Incidents started after Anurag Thakur's statement: Jamia resident

In last four days, three incidents of gunshots being fired at or near anti-CAA protestors have been reported. Locals believe that these incidents have been incited by the kind of chants that were heard in a rally where BJP leader and MoS, Finance Anurag Thakur spoke. A local said to ABP news, "BJP has no agenda to contest election. Anurag Thakur stands next to Finance Minister in Parliament during Budget speech but incites people during his rallies."
