Imported onions bring new troubles for central government

Prices of onions have caused huge issues for the people of India when they crossed Rs 100 mark. Now onions are a bit cheaper as the new crop has started coming in the market. But to reduce the prices, onions were also imported. Now, these onions are not being bought by the state governments and this stock seems to get wasted, even as the imported onions get stale quicker.
