Emergency Brake Applied in Samastipur Rail Accident: What Happened Next? | ABP Live

The Indian Railways seems to be in need of divine intervention, as continuous rail accidents have been occurring over the past few years, and even in recent days. The latest incident happened in Samastipur, where the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express split into two parts near Pusa station on the Samastipur-Muzaffarpur rail section. Upon receiving information, officials from the Sonpur division rushed to the scene, and a large number of local villagers gathered. An official from the Sonpur rail division reported that the accident occurred due to a coupling failure between the engine and the coaches. The driver, hearing the noise, applied the emergency brake and stopped the train. The train has now resumed its journey to Delhi.
