Speaking on the murder of two sadhus, Maharashtra PWD Minister Ashok Chavan said that there is no concerns regarding safety in the state. He also urged that the killings of saints should not be politicised. He further added that the police are investigating the matter and once they nab the accused, only then the motive behind the murder can be ascertained.

The killing of two saints comes weeks after two seers and a driver were lynched by a mob in Nanded.
