Dense Fog Returns to Delhi NCR, Travel Disruptions Expected Across North India

Delhi NCR is once again enveloped in dense fog, leading to poor visibility and travel disruptions across the region. The thick blanket of mist has extended throughout northern India, affecting daily commuters and travelers. Authorities have issued warnings about reduced visibility, especially in the early morning and late evening hours, making it difficult to navigate on roads and delaying flights and trains.With the fog settling in, visibility on highways is down to just a few meters, posing a significant challenge to motorists. Railways are also experiencing delays as trains slow down for safety reasons. Airport authorities have reported some delays in flights as well, urging passengers to check their flight statuses before traveling.The situation is expected to worsen throughout the day, with ongoing smog and fog affecting most parts of northern India. Residents have been advised to take precautions, including wearing masks to safeguard against pollution and to drive cautiously on the roads. Today’s travel is expected to be especially troublesome, with both air and ground transportation facing delays and challenges.
