Delhi witnesses piercing cold wave, consistent dip in temperature

Delhi has been witnessing piercing cold wave since the beginning of new year. The main reason behind it is consistent rainfall in the hilly areas whereas rainfall in the plains. The minimum temperature in the National Capital has been falling as well.

On the other hand, people are thronging night shelters too in order to keep themselves warm amid dipping temperatures.
