Delhi will vote for work, education: Manish Sisodia
Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday urged the people of the national capital to vote for good education of their children and asked them to choose the 'broom' -- the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) election symbol. Sisodia made the remarks ahead of voting for Delhi's 70 Assembly seats on Saturday.
More than one crore people of Delhi will choose 70 lawmakers. This time, 2,04,830 voters are above the age of 80, while 147 voters are above the age of 100. The oldest voter is 110-year-old Kalitara Mandal, a resident of Greater Kailash. In the last elections, the AAP had registered a landslide victory by winning 67 seats. The BJP had won 3. The Congress didn't open its account.
