Delhi Violence: Umar Khalid arrested under UAPA
In the Delhi violence case, former Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students, Umar Khalid, has been arrested under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The arrest was made after 11 hours of rigourous questioning by the special cell of Delhi police. Khalid has been accused as being one of the main conspirators of Delhi violence which broke out in February.
