Delhi Car Blast: NIA Tracks Umar’s i20 Trail After Escape From Module

According to officials, Umar had already realised that his arrest was imminent, after which he managed to escape from the module. Following his escape, he moved towards Firozpur and later entered Delhi through the Delhi route. Once he entered the national capital, he kept moving ahead to avoid surveillance. Meanwhile, NIA teams and other agencies continuously tracked his movements. His i20 car was spotted inside the city, and investigators created a detailed trail using CCTV footage. Apart from this, several of his location points were traced through digital surveillance, helping agencies map his route and plan further action.
