Cyclone Nisarga: Evacuation process started in Powai; Daman receives light showers

Cyclone Nisarga will make a landfall today hence Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa are on red alert. The cyclone is 250 kilometers away from Mumbai and is bound to strike post noon on Wednesday. 

Here is a ground report from Powai and Daman areas. Slums in Powai are most vulnerable and hence evacuation was done in the area. On the other hand, light showers were witnessed in Daman
