Consumers suffer as price of Onion and Tomato crosses Rs 80

The public is worried about the increasing prices of vegetables. In the vegetable market of Prayagraj,UP buyers are quite astonished over the increased prices of Onion and Tomatoes.Onion is being sold at a price of 100 Rs per kg while Tomatoes at a rate of Rs 80. In Patna also people who earlier used to buy 2.5kg onions are now buying just 250gm.
As compared to other states prices of Onion and Tomatoes in Delhi market are coming down. 
It can be expected that prices will come down and the consumers need not buy the vegetables at high rates.
