Microsoft Is Working On A Fix As Xbox Cloud Gaming Is Still Down After 24 Hours

Microsoft has advised users to monitor the official Xbox Status page for updates regarding the ongoing issue.

Xbox Cloud Gaming, an online service that lets gamers play hundreds of console games on phones, tablets and other devices, has been down or reportedly inaccessible for a number of users across the world. Apparently, it has been more than 24 hours since the services were disrupted and till now there's no fix to help with the issue. 

Microsoft, through its official Xbox Support, addressed reports from players worldwide who encountered long queue times while attempting to access games. Microsoft said that users “may be experiencing issues launching Cloud Gaming titles.”

Players attempting to launch games reported encountering a queue screen with wait times ranging from several minutes to a few hours. On regular days, queues are typically rare and, when they occur, last only a few minutes. However, recent posts on platforms like Twitter and Reddit indicate that users across various devices were unable to access games, suggesting the problem is widespread and affecting players globally.

Microsoft has been actively promoting Xbox Cloud Gaming as a viable alternative to traditional consoles, even adding three Call of Duty titles to the platform in recent months. However, this latest disruption may serve as a reminder that online services can sometimes face reliability challenges.
