The rescue operation in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, continues as authorities work tirelessly to save the remaining trapped workers after a glacier-triggered landslide. So far, 47 workers have been rescued, including 14 today, while 8 are still awaiting evacuation. Yesterday, 33 workers were successfully pulled out from the snow-covered debris. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has already departed for Chamoli to assess the situation and oversee rescue efforts. The operation, which faced weather-related challenges earlier, is being carried out with specialized teams and advanced equipment. The government has assured full support to the affected workers and their families, as rescue teams race against time to complete the mission.
