BSP supremo Mayawati has slammed BJP over the Guna farmer atrocity incident. Mayawati said that on one hand, BJP and its government lauds itself for settling the Dalits and then does incidents like these to uproot their lives. She further added that this was common even under Congress rule. Earlier, a Dalit couple in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district drank pesticide in an attempt to end their lives on Tuesday. They took this drastic step after they helplessly watched as their crops were bulldozed by revenue department officials.
