Breaking: Violence Erupts During Hanuman Jayanti Procession in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Main Accused Arrested
In Guna, Madhya Pradesh, a violent clash erupted during a Shobha Yatra on Hanuman Jayanti. The incident occurred in the Kurnalganj area, where devotees had gathered to celebrate the festival. During the procession, stones were thrown at the participants, reportedly from a mosque. Shocking footage surfaced showing individuals coming out of the mosque and physically attacking the procession with swords, lathis, and sticks. The violence resulted in chaos and raised fears among local residents. The primary accused in the incident, identified as Vicky Khan, was arrested. According to witnesses, Vicky Khan not only snatched mobile phones but also threatened people with death and demanded they leave their ancestral homes. In one of the affected homes, stones were found scattered both outside and inside, showing the extent of the violence. Local resident Purushottam Ji shared that he was informed about the stone-throwing by his son and rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, he was attacked, and his phone was broken by the accused. Tensions in the area remain high as the violence has left many locals feeling unsafe, with some fearing further reprisals. Authorities have stepped in to maintain order, but the situation remains tense in the aftermath of the incident.
