Breaking News: Jaish-e-Mohammed Terror Hideout Busted in J&K’s Kishtwar
Security forces have unearthed a hideout of the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. The operation led to the recovery of a large cache of ration supplies, indicating the presence of terrorists in the region for an extended period. According to security sources, the hideout was located in the dense forest area of Chhatru in Kishtwar. During the search, forces recovered food supplies including wheat flour, rice, pulses, and other essential items. Intelligence assessments suggest that the recovered ration stock was sufficient to sustain a group of three to four terrorists for nearly three months. Sources further indicate that the hideout is suspected to belong to the Saifullah group of Jaish-e-Mohammed, which is believed to be active in the region. The discovery suggests that the terror group was planning to use the hideout as a long-term base to carry out operations in the area. Security agencies believe the recovery has dealt a significant blow to the operational capabilities of the terror group in the Kishtwar region. Following the discovery, search and surveillance operations have been intensified in nearby forest areas to track down any remaining terrorists and prevent future infiltration or attacks.
