Breaking: NDA Gains Strength as Leaders Cite Trust in Modi–Nitish and Fear of ‘Jungle Raj’

NDA leaders attribute the coalition’s strong early showing in Bihar to voters’ trust in Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, contrasting their governance with what they describe as the opposition’s association with corruption and “jungle raj.” Speaking to the media, NDA representatives argued that Bihar’s elderly voters still remember the state’s darker past, while the youth see visible progress in the form of new medical colleges, engineering institutes, and improved public safety. A significant factor, they say, is the overwhelming support from women voters, who have backed Nitish Kumar’s policies on empowerment, education, and social welfare. In districts like Begusarai, women reportedly outpaced male turnout by over 10%, reinforcing the narrative of a strong gender-driven shift toward the NDA. Commenting on the opposition, NDA leaders claimed that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav “pulled each other down,” leading to the Mahagathbandhan’s weakening performance, while the public chose stability, peace, and development under the NDA.
