Breaking: Man Found Dead Inside Locked Car In Vikas Puri, No Injury Marks, Police Begin Probe
A distressing incident unfolded in West Delhi’s Vikas Puri area when a PCR call alerted local police about a foul smell emanating from a locked car in the PVR parking lot. Upon arrival, police discovered a white Maruti Celerio (DL 9CBF 9664) parked with a strong odor coming from inside. When the vehicle was opened, a man was found dead in the driver's seat.The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Chaukhandi. Preliminary police reports confirm that there were no visible injury marks on the body. The corpse was immediately sent to the hospital for postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Police suspect that the man may have died several hours earlier, considering the state of decomposition and the intensity of the smell.According to police sources, the information about the car was received around 6:30 PM. Locals and passersby had noticed the odor but assumed it was temporary. It was only after complaints increased that the police were informed. The car is now stationed outside the Vikas Puri police station as investigation continues.Authorities have informed the family, and a detailed inquiry is underway to determine the circumstances leading to Rakesh Kumar’s death.
