Bird Flu outbreak: Kanpur Zoo sealed post confirmation of H-5 strain
Bird flu has been confirmed in the dead chickens at the zoo in Kanpur. In view of this, the Zoo of Kanpur has been sealed till further orders. With this, bird flu has now been confirmed in Uttar Pradesh, and now the number of states in the grip of this disease has increased to seven.
Apart from UP, bird flu has been confirmed in Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Gujarat.
