Bihar: Tariq Anwar removed as Cong's MLC candidate, here's why
A day after being named as MLC candidate from Congress for the upcoming legislative council elections in Bihar, Tariq Anwar had to withdraw his nomination. The withdrawal took place because Tariq Anwar isn't registered as a voter in Bihar and hence he can not contest an election in the state as an MLC. Now, instead of Anwar, working president of Bihar Congress Sameer Kumar will be the candidate.
