Bihar lockdown extended by one week, here is till when

After much contemplation and assessment, it was announced that Bihar will extend the lockdown restrictions which were imposed due to surge in the Covid cases in the state for another week. In a meeting of Crisis Management Group chaired by Chief Secretary Tripurari Sharan conducted on Monday, it was announced that Bihar will continue to remain under lockdown for 1 more week.

The first lockdown in Bihar was imposed from May 5th and was extended till May 15th. Thereafter the lockdown was extended from 16th of May to 25th of May and again from 26th of May till 1st of June. Both times, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar decided to increase the lockdown after consultations with ministers and district officials to control the spread of virus.
