Attempt to stop landslides on Badrinath Highway

There is a danger of land slide in the mountains at all times, especially on the Badrinath Dham highway. Efforts are being made to stop the landslide with the help of mesh on the mountains. The Rishikesh-Devprayag-Badrinath Highway will remain closed for traffic from March 22 to March 31 for cutting of hard rock portions of the hills on the stretch under the all-weather Chardham road project.
