Assam: 26 districts flood affected, Brahmaputra wreaks havoc

As many as 26 districts have been affected by floods in Assam as Brahmaputra river continues to wreak havoc amid heavy rains. As many as 2678 villages have been facing the flood situation. The animals in Kaziranga national park also needed to be rescued from the flood water a few days back.

For the past month, Assam has been in combat mode against the floods and lost 79 lives.
