AIIMS Director cautions general public against Hydroxychloroquine

Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of Delhi AIIMS has cautioned the general public against using Hydroxychloroquin without a proper prescription. Dr. Guleria said that it can be harmful to the common public especially those with heart conditions. He added that the drug has side effects of its own like the irregular beating of the heart. He further said that we need more data to conclude that hydroxychloroquine is an effective cure against the Covid-19 virus.
