Agrarian reform bills to be introduced in Rajya Sabha today

All the three agricultural bills passed by Lok Sabha, Agriculture Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Contract Bill 2020 on Price Assurance and Agricultural Services, Essential Commodities Amendment Bill will be introduced in Rajya Sabha today.

In the Lok Sabha, both the bills were easily passed by voice, as the government has a tremendous majority in the House. But the Modi government does not have a majority in the Rajya Sabha.
