Increase in mobile tariff affecting common man's pocket: Shashi Tharoor

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor while talking to ABP News said, "Today the situation is worrisome. Telecom companies are saying in unison that their sector is unviable and are raising doubts over the survival of their business. "
Questioning government over revival plan, he said, "there are employees in BSNL and MTNL who haven't received their salaries since six months."
"The way we have increased the prices together, it is clear that the crisis is big and in the end the burden will fall on the common man's pocket," he stated.
