Delhi Protest: Death toll reaches 39
The death toll has climbed to 39 in the deadliest violence in the national capital in decades. As per officials, 35 people died in Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital and three died in LNJP hospital. In the violence that erupted after pro and anti-CAA groups clashed, several bullets were fired from both sides which claimed many lives, including that of a Delhi Police head constable.
