Massive fire guts 50 shops in Kolkata’s Shapoorji market, three injured
A major fire broke out in at New Town in Shapoorji market area of Kolkata on Thursday morning. It is reported that 50 shops were gutted down in the fire which broke out around 3.30 am today.
As of now, three injured have been sent to the nearby hospital in which condition of one person is serious.
Officials suspect the fire started due to cylinder explosion in the area.
Fire tenders reached the spot and a total of five fire tenders are working to douse the fire.
