Major Vibhuti Singh Dhoundiyal along with three jawans- Havaldar Sheo Ram and Sepoy Hari Singh and Sepoy Ajay Kumar attained martyrdom in a fierce gun battle that broke out between security forces and terrorists in Pulwama after security got a tipp off from intelligence that the perpetrators of the Pulwama attack were holed up in village.
