The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Wednesday ruled in favour of India and said that the death sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav, accused by Pakistan of spying, will remain on hold until Paksitan "effectively reviews and reconsiders" his conviction. President of the Court Judge Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf read out the verdict during a public sitting at the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands. ICJ said that the Court considers that a continued stay of execution constitutes an indispensable condition for the effective review and reconsideration of the conviction and sentence of Jadhav.
