India@2047 Summit: Modi Calls for Innovation, Reforms, and National Resolve

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the India@2047 Summit with a compelling vision for India’s transformation into a fully developed nation by the centenary of its independence. Organized by ABP Network, the summit featured diverse voices from across the country, including women entrepreneurs, youth leaders, and grassroots innovators. Welcoming the Prime Minister, Atideb Sarkar raised crucial questions: How will India sustain long-term economic growth? How will the dreams of youth and women be realized? How can the nation ensure water security and unity amid global and domestic challenges? In his keynote speech, PM Modi announced a landmark development—the finalization of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement, which he described as a historic step that will unlock new opportunities for trade, investment, and youth employment. The Prime Minister reflected on major reforms under his government, including banking sector overhauls, the Direct Benefit Transfer system, and defense manufacturing growth. He emphasized that 25 crore Indians have risen out of poverty in the last decade, proving that “Democracy can deliver.” Calling for unity, innovation, and trust in India's potential, Modi concluded, “This decade will define the destiny of the coming centuries. Together, we will build a Viksit Bharat.”
