While the Mahayuti alliance has consistently stated that it does not have a Chief Ministerial candidate, Amit Shah hinted on Friday that the BJP might push for Devendra Fadnavis as Deputy Chief Minister. Speaking at a rally in Sangli, Shah praised Fadnavis, saying, "I have toured various parts of Maharashtra, including Vidarbha, Mumbai, Konkan, Kolhapur, and Jalgaon. Everywhere I went, one sentiment was clear among the people—'Mahayuti must form the government, and Devendra bhai must win.'"
