JDU senior leader KC Tyagi, while talking to media said that there was a lot of opposition to the Agniveer scheme. Its effect was also seen in the elections. In such a situation, there is a need to reconsider it. There is a need to think about the Agniveer scheme in a new way.
He further said that our stand on UCC is the same as before. Regarding UCC, CM Nitish Kumar had written a letter to the Law Commission chairman saying that JDU is not against it, but there should be talks with all the parties.
