Country celebrates Guru Nanak Jayanti , Kartik Purnima & Dev Deepawali

People in Amritsar celebrate Gurpurab at the Golden temple with much enthusiasm. This year, the country will be marking his 549th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.
While Hindus across the country are celebrating Kartik Purnima today, that is on 23rd November, 2018. Kartik is the eighth lunar month as per the Hindu calendar and is considered the holiest month among all lunar months.
