BJP's manifesto: Main points highlighted by Rajnath Singh

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls today in New Delhi, ahead of the General Elextions which are scheduled to begin from April 11. Top party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and its chief Amit Shah, were present at the launch of the manifesto, described by the BJP as its "sankalp patra". The "sankalp patra" or document of promises, that was presented by the Home Minister Rajnath Singh, has been crafted on the theme of a "Sankalpit Bharat - Shashakt Bharat" or "determined India, empowered India".
