Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav will contest the Lok Sabha polls from Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh, the party announced on Friday.
In a list released by the party, the names of five other candidates were also announced by Samajwadi Party Principal General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav.
Dharmendra Yadav, a cousin of party chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, will again contest from Budayun while Akshay Yadav, another member of the Yadav family, has been fielded from Firozabad.
