Ganesh Chaturthi amid Coronavirus: Celebrate with caution | Namaste Bharat (10 Sept 2021)
India is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi today. Due to Coronavirus, the celebration will not be as grand as it used to be earlier. Maharashtra and many other states have released guidelines for celebrations as well. In Maharashtra, devotees are not allowed to visit public pandals; they can only offer prayers virtually.
Indian government has asked the people to celebrate the festival at home only in order to keep the COVID cases under control
