Wicketkeeper's Back-Trap Catch Leaves Internet In Disbelief. WATCH

The unusual video was shared on Instagram by Mumbai Indians with the caption "And the fielding medal goes to…".

A video of a catch taken by a wicketkeeper during a match between KPA 123 and KCSA Calicut in the Kerala Premier League, has left the internet in splits. In the clip the wicketkeeper takes the catch but not in the regular way it should be taken.  Rather, the ball bounces of his gloves and lands on his back, which he manages to hold.

The unusual video was shared on Instagram by Mumbai Indians with the caption "And the fielding medal goes to…".

In the clip one can see a KPA 123 fast bowler bowl a delivery that swings away from the batsman, who edges it and gives a catch to the wicket keeper. However, the ball bounces off the diving wicketkeeper's gloves and lands on his back, which he manages to balance. On seeing this his team mates on the field come rushing towards him cheering and in splits over the unusual catch.

"Catched by third hand don't call third umpire," joked on user on seeing the video.

"Malayali don't do hard work only smart work," commented  another user on the post.

"Bro didn't catch the ball, the ball cought him," wrote a third.

While a fourth jokingly wrote, Ye wahi log hai jinpar ham dream 11 mai paise lagate hai (These are the people on whom we spend money in dream 11).

"This talent should not go out of India," joked a fifth.
