A new viral video has taken the internet by surprise, showing a man using a cement mixer to bake a massive chocolate chip cookie. This unusual method has sparked a lot of discussion, blending food and engineering in a fun and creative way. The video begins with the man adding twenty-four sticks of butter into the cement mixer. Instead of using a microwave, he uses a blowtorch to melt the butter, saying it’s “way faster than a microwave.” He then cracks two dozen eggs into the mix, followed by a large amount of sugar and brown sugar.
After that, he adds vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Three bags of flour go in next, followed by five big scoops of chocolate chips, all stirred together in the mixer. To flatten the dough, the man uses a shovel to scoop it into a giant 4-foot aluminium pan.

In a funny moment, he saves some of the dough for his dog, making sure it doesn’t contain any chocolate. After mixing everything, he places the dough in a charcoal oven for 15 minutes. “It smelled and looked amazing,” he says, although he admits the giant cookie tasted more like a brownie than a regular cookie.
