Viral Video Shows How Much Dust A Bus Seat Holds, Leaves Netizens Horrified

Many of us travel by public transport everyday but there are very few people who may have paid attention to how clean or dirty the seats are. A video showing how dusty a bus seat can be has gone viral on the internet. The clip shared on Instagram by the handle @_likealeaf has left many people disgusted.
"Bus seats are made of a special fabric with unusual patterns because it helps them mask stains, wear and tear, and look fresh without the need for much maintenance. The weird, mind-bending patterns are designed to make the seats appear clean and unworn, even though they conceal a lot of dirt within those wild patterns," reads the caption of the post.
The clip shows a person holding a hammer-like tool and beating the seat consistently with it. Soon a cloud of dust begins to come out from the seat, proving they are not cleaned frequently.
Since being shared the video has amassed over 12 lakh likes, and a plethora of comments.
