‘This Is Real Humanity’: Bengaluru YouTuber Cleared the Way For Stuck Ambulance By Breaking Rules In Viral Video

A Bengaluru YouTuber's quick thinking helped an ambulance stuck in traffic, ensuring it reached on time. His selfless act has gone viral, earning widespread praise.

Bengaluru’s infamous traffic congestion has long been a major challenge, particularly for emergency services like ambulances that transport critically ill patients. A recent viral video has highlighted this pressing issue while showcasing the selfless act of a Bengaluru-based YouTuber who stepped in to help an ambulance stuck in traffic, ensuring it reached its destination on time.

The video, shared by an Instagram user, captures the YouTuber’s swift intervention. As he was riding his scooter, he noticed an ambulance trapped in gridlock at a red light. Understanding the urgency of the situation, he took immediate action. Despite the driver blocking the ambulance’s path refusing to move due to the signal, the YouTuber did not back down.

He took an unconventional yet effective approach—driving the wrong way to reach the front of the queue and personally stopping traffic on the intersecting road, which had a green light. This allowed the ambulance to pass through unhindered. His actions, though technically against traffic rules, proved crucial in preventing a delay that could have had life-threatening consequences.

The video also captures other drivers cooperating with the YouTuber, demonstrating a rare moment of unity on Bengaluru’s heavily congested roads.

Sharing his thoughts in the video’s caption, the YouTuber wrote, “It’s inspiring to see people like me take initiative and help in an emergency. You clearly understand the importance of quick action and the potential to save lives. Witnessing an ambulance stuck in traffic, I knew I had to act. Risking a wrong-way drive to clear the congestion, I worked with another kind soul to get the ambulance moving.”

“This experience taught me the importance of taking initiative and the power of collective action in saving lives.  Even a minute can make a difference.  Let's all be ready to help when needed!," he added.

Users Reaction to the Post

The video has since gone viral, earning widespread praise from social media users who have lauded his quick thinking and selfless act.  One of the users said, “It doesn't matter even if it's for video. He did a very good job. Awesome.”

Whereas another one wrote, “Well, this city is known as the IT capital of India. It developed very quickly. It is also known for its traffic problems. There is no proper infrastructure to support a high population. Old areas of the city are good, though.”

A third one said, “They don’t know who they saved but god sees everything with his eyes and will surely give this man the credit of his duty doesn’t matter if it was for a video but the job he did was phenomenal and people of India should always grab these types of opportunities which will help in the development of the country like India!”
