Social Media Influencer Puts Up Matrimonial Ad For 'Reel Partner', Internet In Splits

"I feel as if I'm from the older generation or either this generation has lost all its senses," commented one user on the post.

When placing an advertisement in Matrimonials, the usual qualities that one looks for in their partner are education and physical appearance. But a social media influencer, Riya changed the dynamics by seeking a ‘reel partner’, who could be at ease in front of the camera. The advertisement after being shared on social media became insanely viral evoking laughter for its unique demand.

A picture of the advertisement was shared on the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, by user Ayushi Gupta with the caption, "probably the WILDEST matrimonial ad ever."

The advertisement reads, "My name is Riya I'm looking for a suitable reel partner + groom. The guy should not be camera-shy and willing to create relationship reels with me. Knows how to come up with content around trending music like 'MOI-MOl'. Should not be from a joint family. Before reaching out, please watch. Amazon miniTV's Half Love Half Arranged to know what type of guys I DON'T LIKE. He should know Premiere Pro so he can edit my reels/vlogs."

The post shared on X on October 27 has since amassed close to 1 million views, 8.2 k likes and tons of comments.

"I feel as if I'm from the older generation or either this generation has lost all its senses," commented one user on the post.

"Is this a hiring ad for an editor or a marriage ad?? I’m confused," wrote another user.

"I love the clarity that Riya has," joked a third.

"It’s not even surprising. I know such a girl in real life," commented a fourth.
