Pet Dog Slips Under Moving Train As Passenger Tries To Board Moving Train, Social Media 'Shocked'—On Cam

A video showing a man attempting to board a moving train while pulling his pet dog by the leash is going viral on social media. The viral video shows the man trying to pull the visibly scared dog by the leash even as it refuses to board the running train.

In the process, the dog, a golden retriever, slips from the leash and falls from the platform onto the train tracks. This creates panic among the people on the railway platform. Following the incident, bystanders rushed toward the tracks in order to look for the dog.

The video abruptly ends, and it couldn't be ascertained whether the dog could be rescued or not. It left the viewers concerned and anxious about the dog's fate. As a result, the pet owner in the video has drawn sharp criticism for his reckless behaviour that put the dog's life in danger.

The incident was posted by a user on Instagram captioned, "A disturbing incident occurred at Central Railway station when a dog was dragged by a moving Rajdhani Express train after its owner attempted to board the train (Bogie No. 193751) while the train was already in motion. The owner, showing a lack of responsibility, held onto the leash as he tried to catch the departing train, resulting in the dog being pulled along the platform and onto the tracks."

The user in his post also claimed that the pet dog survived after being pulled onto the moving train.

Netizens React To Viral Video

The video, which went viral on Instagram, netizens blamed the pet owner. One user on Instagram said, "Training works wonders …. Maybe the owner should undergo some training." Another said, "Owner should be punished and jailed for this behaviour with a poor soul!"

"I want this dog if he is fine i have a golden retriever i will take better care this man is not worth having one [sic]," said a concerned netizen.

Highlighting the disturbing nature of the video, yet another Instagram user said, "This is the second most disturbing video I watched that involved a dog. How can someone be so careless? HOW? Poor kid must be in trauma. If the news is correct, I’m hoping for a better future for this kid because looking at his owner it doesn’t seem like he’s living any good."
