In the video, a man and a woman are seen strolling amid gushing waters at a beach, holding hands and frolicking, before a massive wave comes in and separates them. The man is seen pushed towards the beach, while the woman is seen getting swallowed by the water. As the video ends, the man is seen searching frantically for his partner.
The woman, whose identity is not known, is believed to be 20 years old. Russian rescue services have been quoted as saying that, as of three days after the incident, the woman hadn't been found.

The viral video was shared on X by a user from the US who wrote, "The incident reportedly happened while the couple was visiting from the Russian city of Lipetsk. The couple could be seen going to the water's edge when massive waves came and swallowed the woman, an unidentified 20-year-old. The man tried to save her but it was too late. 'The search has not returned any results at this time. The work continues,' the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Brigade said."
