ISRO Chief S Somanath Gets Warm Welcome Onboard IndiGo Flight, Video Goes Viral

In the video IndiGo flight crew member also made a special announcement to let people on the flight know that the ISRO chief is travelling with them and asked them to give him a warm welcome.

The successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 near the south pole of the Moon on August 23 was a historic moment for India, as it became the fourth country after the United States, Russia, and China to land a spacecraft on the Moon. People across the country have continued to celebrate this significant achievement and congratulate Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists and researchers for making the mission possible.

Following this success, a video of ISRO Chief, S Somanath receiving a warm welcome from crew members onboard IndiGo flight has gone viral. The clip was shared by air hostess Pooja Shah on Instagram, which has won the hearts of netizens.

"MR S SOMANATH - The chairman of Isro. Felt privileged to get a chance to serve Mr S Somanath on board our IndiGo flight. It’s always a pleasure to have national heroes on our flight," read the caption of the video.

In the video IndiGo flight crew member Pooja can be seen paying her gratitude to the ISRO chief S Somanath . She also made a special announcement to let people on the flight know that the ISRO chief is travelling with them and asked them to give him a warm welcome.

"I’m glad to announce the presence of Mr S Somanath - the Chairman of Isro - who boarded our flight today. A huge round of applause for Mr Somanath and his team. We are proud to have you on board, sir. Thank you so much for making India proud,” she can be heard making the announcement in the video.

As soon as the announcement ended, passengers erupted into claps while some turned around to have a glimpse of the ISRO chairman.
