'India Needs Civic Sense': IndiGo Passenger Caught Trying To Steal Life Jacket Mid-Flight, Video Sparks Outrage

A viral video shows an IndiGo passenger caught stealing a life jacket from the plane. The man was confronted, and the jacket was retrieved from his bag.

A clip of a passenger on an IndiGo flight trying to steal a life jacket has left social media shocked. It has gone viral across several social media platforms, evoking massive outrage.

Posted by an X user, the clip begins with someone off-screen approaching a man on the flight and asking him to unzip his bag. The passenger who took the life jacket unzips the bag himself, and then the other man recording pulls out a yellow-coloured life jacket.

On being questioned, the man could not speak anything in the absence of a proper reason to justify his act.

The person recording said to the person who stole the life jacket that "Bhaiyaa, ye cheez sahi nehi hai" (Brother, this isn't right) and added that taking off the vest might leave the next passenger on the flight in a compromised state. He then goes on to say, "Aap bag mein daal rahein ho" (You're putting it in your bag). He then showed the stolen life jacket to everyone on the flight and said that this is not good. The man who stole was tight-lipped throughout the recording.a

This act of trying to take the life jacket has led to so many comments by users on social media platforms.

“What kind of country we are becoming??? This is a ridiculous conduct. If this tolerated then air travel will become more risky (Incase of emergency with Air India planes you will know there is no life jacket and Air India crew will say Apologies for the permanent inconvenience),” a user named Sachin Sharma wrote on X.

“On a serious note, these people should be banned, their passports should be impounded,” he added further.

“bro india needs a strict lesson on civic sense real soon, this shit shouldn't go unpunished, abhi yoga day there were ppl stealing yoga mats and food like wtf man..,” another user named Shivang wrote on X.

"He has paid hard-earned money for a ticket; he tried the bathroom bulb and mugga, but it didn't work out, so he chose to reimburse himself with a life jacket. Aage jaake politician phir PM banega dekh lena, pura 36 gun milte hain politics ke,” the third user wrote.
