Dad Fulfils Daughter's Request, Wears Pink Tutus To Watch Barbie

Rather than dismissing the idea, Eleazar Rodriguez Hernandez took it up as a challenge to overcome societal norms

Fathers are usually more attached to their daughters and are willing to take up any challenge to bring a smile on their faces. In a post that has gone viral on the internet, a father has shared a series of pictures of himself wearing a pink dress, and that too a tutu on the request of his daughter. The man agreed to do so after the daughter asked, "Daddy, would you take me to the premiere of Barbie, but you wear something pink or are you ashamed?". Rather than dismissing the idea, Eleazar Rodriguez Hernandez took it up as a challenge to overcome societal norms and stereotypes.

Sharing his pictures on Facebook and the reason behind making the bold move Hernandez wrote, "My daughter said daddy take me to the premiere of Barbie but you wear something pink or are you ashamed. I think the one who's going to be embarrassed will be her. #barbiegirl".

Since being shared, the Facebook post has amassed 15,000 likes. It has also attracted several comments in Spanish. When translated to English, the comments are largely praise the father for such a bold move.

"It's genuine love to your daughter no matter what,' commented one user on the post.

"I wish I had a father like you who gives everything for his daughter no matter what, you're a great brother keep it up God bless you and your family," wrote another user.

"My respects to that father. That means he loves his daughter very much," commented a third.

While a fourth said "Ud are an example that doing things like what ud did doesn't make u less man if not a better person.. in my work we said that ud is more man to do this because it takes courage to do a challenge like this."
