CISF’s Reply on the Viral Post

The post read: "Dear Passenger, Your valuable feedback is a source of inspiration for CISF personnel. Thank you very much. Wish you a wonderful day. @CISFHQrs.” The novel initiative has been introduced at several airports across the country, raising some interest in the airlines to imbibe a similar initiative. The voluntary stretches are generally of two to three minutes long, aimed at utilizing the travel time while waiting at the boarding gates.

"It is not only great for the health of the passengers but, given the condition of prolonged sitting or waits, will also compel people to take necessary actions against probable health issues. More often than not, passengers do not stretch their limbs in public for fear that they might look odd; hence, we made it an organized affair," said a senior CISF official to The Indian Express.

The program features six gentle stretches, including side, backward, and forward movements, directed by the specially trained CISF personnel. Similar sessions are also being conducted in major airports across the nation like Udaipur, Srinagar, Dehradun, Bhuntar, and Gwalior.

The initiative has evoked widespread acceptance in the comments section of the viral post.

"Crazy stuff," added a third in appreciation of the innovative approach.

As the program expands to more airports, it is destined to become a standard for increasing passenger comfort and well-being in their travels.
